Missing Clayton Co. boy found safe

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Clayton County school police have located a missing 9-year-old boy.

Police said Travion Anderson was last seen at 2:30 p.m. Thursday heading toward his school bus at Harper Elementary School, but police could not confirm that he got on the bus.

Police confirmed the boy was found around 6:30 a.m. Friday.

In a news release, police said Travion was found outside in his apartment complex. Emergency medical person checked him out and determined he was unharmed.

Dozens of officers searched near the boy's home at the Scarlett Place Apartments on Summer Court Drive Thursday night.

Travion's parents said there is no history of him running away.
