Police chase suspect runs into school

KENNESAW, Ga. — Two Cobb County schools have been put on lockdown after a suspect ran into one of the schools while being chased by police.

North Cobb High School at 3400 Old U.S. Highway 41 and Awtrey Middle School at 3601 Nowlin Rd. were put on lockdown, just before 2 p.m.

News Chopper 2 flew over the area, where the suspect fled from Cobb County officers.

The suspect might be armed, police said.
