Police agencies show support after Ariana Grande concert explosion

Police stand by a cordoned off street close to the Manchester Arena on May 22, 2017 in Manchester, England. There were reports of at least one explosion at Manchester Arena where Ariana Grande had performed this evening.

ATLANTA — Several police agencies across the world are showing their support for first responders who are at the scene of an explosion at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England.

Among the agencies showing their support is the Orlando Police Department, saying "Thinking of everyone in #Manchester tonight."

Orlando gained the world's attention when a man opened fire inside the Pulse nightclub, killing 49 people in June 2016.

Boston PD also took to twitter to support those affected in England saying, “Our thoughts and prayers are with those hurt, harmed or injured.”

Boston was the site of a terror plot in April 2013 when two bombs exploded along the route of the Boston Marathon.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office chimed in as well, saying "Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, @gmpolice, and the people of #Manchester."
