Women arrested after heroin, ecstasy, other illegal pills found in home

PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — Two women are locked up at the Paulding County Jail on drug charges, after the sheriff’s office said they found heroin, ecstasy, and other illegal pills inside a home.

Olubumi Ogunsuyi, 37, and Whitney Lashall Hayden, 28, were arrested on Silverthorne Circle on Thursday.

Complaints from neighbors led deputies to the home, after they smelled marijuana, then got a search warrant.

When investigators went in, they discovered the garage packed full with new, opened boxes of mostly electronics. These items were anything from laptops to printers to high-end coffee makers.

It took two large moving trucks to haul it all away.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation, leading the local drug task force, is now processing everything.
