Police say they responded after getting a phone call saying someone was shot near the leasing center of the Las Palmas apartment complex.

When they arrived police say they found a man shot inside a car in front of the building. The man was immediately transported an area hospital where he died.

Gwinnett police haven’t released the victim’s name at this time and have no known suspects. They’re encouraging anyone near the building who might have doorbell cameras or other video of the area to give them a call.

On Saturday, police responded to a call about a shooting on Creek Water Court around 3:30 p.m. and found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, but died. Police noticed a home had an open garage door and investigated. Inside the home, they found two more men dead of gunshot wounds.

It’s unclear if there is any connection between the shootings.

They add that witness can call detectives at 770-513-5300 or to anonymously get in touch with Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477)
