Official raises concerns over Fulton Co. elections results

ATLANTA — Georgia's secretary of state said he is concerned about why Fulton County's Elections Office has put off certifying last week's elections results.

The Fulton County Elections Office announced it would certify results of Tuesday's election on Saturday at noon, but it now appears they won't be certified until Monday at 6:30 p.m.

"This process does not usually take this long and every time we've worked out a deadline with them, it's been moved," Kemp said in a phone interview.

In an email to Channel 2 Action News, Kemp said he's even more worried about lack of responsive communications from the elections office.
