ATLANTA — Passengers at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport were forced to leave part of the international terminal Friday night.
Atlanta police sent us the following statement: "One of our K-9s was alerted by a scent on one of the ULDs (Unit Load Device) that was carrying luggage from a Qatar Air Flight. When something like this takes place, there is a protocol that has to take place to determine the potential threat of the situation and ensure the safety of all those in the area. There was nothing located during the search."
