Man accused of taking upskirt pictures on the job

NORTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A former employee at a Milton store is facing charges after police said he admitted to taking pictures up a customer's skirt.

Milton police charged Antione Harris, 19, with peeping tom and unlawful surveillance stemming from the March 28th incident at Tuesday Morning on Highway 9.

"I was walking around, and this employee kept being very close to me," the victim told Channel 2's Mike Petchenik.  "He was just uncomfortably close the entire time."

The woman, who Channel 2 Action News is not naming, told Petchenik she felt something brush against her leg, and initially didn't think anything of it. When it happened a second time, she said she turned around and was shocked.

"His camera phone was pointed under my dress. He was leaning down, pretending that he was fixing something on the bottom shelf," she said.

The victim said she screamed, and a store manager came over to see what was going on.

"He admitted he'd taken the picture and deleted it," she said.  "I surprisingly felt really violated. ; I;I was shaking, crying."

Police told Petchenik they are examining Harris' cellphone.

"If there's evidence on the phone to indicate this is an on-going thing with him, then obviously, we'll reach out if we can discern who the other victims are at the other locations," said Lt. Charles Barstow, of the Milton Police Department.

A co-worker of Harris told Petchenik the Roswell man seemed normal.

"He was an average guy, 19 years old, seemed normal. Nothing like creepy like people associate with what happened," said Nicholas Hull.

Hull said he was glad his employer immediately terminated Harris.

"Who would want to keep him after that, want that sort reputation associated with their business?" he said.

The victim said all women should trust their instincts.

"I'm happy I was actually able to be aware of my surroundings enough to actually catch him in the process of what he was doing," she said. "He would have done this to someone else unless he got caught.  He needs some consequences to prevent him from doing this again."
