Dozens gather to honor woman killed in accident on Ga. 400

NORTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Family and friends gathered Wednesday to honor a mother killed in a bizarre accident.

A vigil was held for Julieanna Shedrawy, 49, who died when a tire flew through her windshield on Ga. 400.

The group gathered outside Shedrawy’s home in Alpharetta.

“The outpouring of love tonight and all the people that showed up just proves … we already knew how amazing she was. This proves how amazing she was,” one friend said.

Loved ones lit candles, sang and prayed for the woman who died tragically last week.

Shedrawy’s sister was among the mourners.

“We’re hanging on to our faith, not asking why right now. We know that some good will come from this somehow,” she said.

A GoFundMe page has already raised thousands of dollars for the college education of Shedrawy's daughters.

“Just dedicate some time or money to the GoFundMe page so her daughters can fulfill their dreams. That’s what she would have wanted,” a friend said.

Shedrawy’s funeral is set for Thursday.
