NEWTON COUNTY, Ga. — Sheriff’s officials said a Newton County man was shot and killed Thursday night.
Adrian Riccardo Brooks, 35, was shot at his girlfriend’s duplex in the Gum Tree Subdivision off Kirkland Road at approximately 8 p.m., officials said.
His girlfriend told police that three unknown suspects shot Brooks and escaped in a White Toyota Camry. There was no description of the suspects available, sheriff’s officials said.
They said Brooks was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
