Mother has no anger after son killed in Henry County quadruple shooting

HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — Five people were arrested in connection with a quadruple shooting that left three people dead and a tight-knit town shaken.

The suspects appeared in court in Henry County Friday.

Channel 2’s Matt Johnson obtained the arrest warrants for the two people charged with murder. They detail each suspect's alleged connection to the killings.

Meanwhile, the families of the four shooting victims told Johnson they are devastated.

Lisa Gibson told Johnson she has been grappling with the question of how to bury a child.

She learned her son Keith Gibson, 29, was one of three people shot and killed in Henry County Thursday.

“He wasn’t a bad person. I believe he was at the wrong place at the wrong time,” Lisa Gibson said.

Keith Gibson leaves behind two young children.

His mother said she doesn't know any of murder suspects arrested in connection to the killings.

“My 7-year-old grandson don’t even understand, I don’t,” Lisa Gibson said.

A criminal warrant said Jacob Kosky, 22, was the gunman and Mathew Baker, 19, provided the weapon.

Three others face obstruction charges.

Police found Matthew King and Sophia Bullard shot to death along with Gibson at the house on Moccasin Gap Road.

Destiny Olinger, was also shot and she is in critical condition at Grady Memorial Hospital.

One man said he escaped the house unharmed after hiding under a bed when the gunman starting shooting at around 1:30 a.m.

“My everything flashed in front of me. I thought about everything," The man told Johnson, asking not to be identified.

That man said Kosky was at a bonfire at the house earlier and he left and came back with a gun.

Gibson's mother is left grieving, unsure when the pain will go away.

“I don’t have anger. I have hurt and I feel sorry for them,” Gibson said.
