ATLANTA — A huge tree blocked Moores Mill Road in Atlanta for more than 12 hours.
The tree fell around 8 p.m. Sunday and took down power lines, shutting down the road for a half a mile from Ridgemoore to Ridgewood roads.
The city had to bring in a tractor-trailer to remove the tree, delaying the process. The road reopened around 11 a.m. Monday.
No one was hurt and no homes were damaged, but about 160 people lost power until Monday morning.
