Mom pleads for clues in son's murder

SOUTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A mother says she believes someone can help police find her son's killer. Investigators say it's one of several murders that happened in the same neighborhood in the last two weeks.

Investigators say the deaths occurred just yards away from each other. They’re investigating the deaths as separate cases. Police believe Friday’s two homicides could be drug-related. Quentez Robinson and Javon Bell were shot to death at apartments off Washington Road.

Two weeks before at a complex across the street only a couple hundred yards away another murder took the life of 23-year-old Justin Ware.

Police said there are no promising leads.

Ware’s mother is pleading with the community to come together to help solve all three of these crimes and get justice for her son.

"They need to do something. Why sit and let this happen to you your community? Say something, do something. Come forward and say something about any of these events that happened in your area," said Arnette Gordon.

Investigators said Ware's murder from March 21could have involved a robbery. He didn't know anyone in that area.
