Men robbed of $40K in jewelry at Buckhead Waffle House

ATLANTA — Three men were robbed of nearly $40,000 worth of jewelry and electronics as they were eating breakfast at a Waffle House in Buckhead Monday morning.

According to Atlanta police, Vincent Lamar Robinson aka “Cash Out,” Raheem Jefferson and Derrick Johnson walked into the Waffle House located near Pharr Road and Piedmont Road around 6:30 a.m. Investigators said they had just come from the Room Service Lounge nearby.

Shortly after sitting down at a table, two men entered the restaurant and sat down at the booth where the three victims were. One of the suspects then pulled out a small black semiautomatic handgun and pressed it against Jefferson’s ribs and said, “Don’t move or say anything, I’ll shoot you right here” and “Give me your watch and gold chain.”

The suspects took Robinson’s gold chain described as a medallion forged into the letters “DC” covered in diamonds valued at $6,000 and a Rolex watch with a big black face. The watch was also covered in diamonds and valued at $20,000.

The suspects also took a Rolex Submariner with a blue face from Jefferson valued at $12,000, as well as an iPhone valued at $500. The suspects also took an iPhone 5 from Johnson valued at $500.

The suspects left the business and ran toward Maple Drive in the direction toward Peachtree Road.
