ATLANTA — Shots were fired late Wednesday outside a local gas station that left one person injured.

Atlanta police were on the scene of a shoot-out at the Raceway gas station on Campbellton Road.
Officers said two customers were at the pumps getting gas, when a black BMW pulled up.
Capt. Clif Johnson said the driver of one of the other cars also had a gun.
"He pulls his weapon at which point gunfire was exchange between both parties and our victim was hit one time in the back,” Johnson said.

During the gunfight, a MARTA bus was caught in the crossfire. A passenger on the bus suffered minor injuries when a bullet shattered the window.
Johnson said after the shooting the driver of the BMW sped off and then pulled over.
“They stopped and fired several more rounds and left the scene,” Johnson said.
The customer in the third car was not hurt.
The victim is recovering in the hospital with gunshot wound to the back.
There is no motive behind the shooting.
