Marietta police release sketch of child abduction suspect

Detectives with the Marietta Police Department are asking for help to identify and locate a person of interest in an attempted child abduction.

MARIETTA, Ga. - Detectives with the Marietta Police Department are asking for help to identify and locate a person of interest in an attempted child abduction.

Investigators say a man grabbed a 9-year-old boy after he got off the school bus Nov. 6.

It happened at the Ridge Point Apartments on Franklin Road around 4:00 p.m. The child was able to break free and ran home.

The suspect is a white man, approximately 25-35 years old.
