A Marietta police officer suffered minor injuries in a Wednesday afternoon crash.
The accident happened at the State Route 120 Loop near Atlanta Street in Marietta.
News Chopper 2 flew over the busy intersection, where several Cobb and Marietta public safety workers responded to the scene.
News Chopper 2's Jason Durden said the injured officer was taken to a hospital.
Another driver involved in the accident had ended up going the wrong way on Atlanta Street, slamming into a pickup truck. Channel 2 Action News is checking on the conditions of those drivers.
All eastbound lanes of the south 120 loop are closed. Northbound and southbound lanes of Atlanta Street are also closed.
