Man's proposal goes wrong when he drops ring off bridge

A wedding proposal caught on video is making the rounds on social media but for all the wrong reasons.

Seth Dixon was planning on proposing to his partner of four years, Ruth Marie Salas, in their favorite spot in a park in Kansas City.

When he got down on one knee, he fumbled with the ring and dropped it. The ring fell between the cracks in the bridge and into a pond below.

Nearby onlookers and friends jumped into the pond to try to find it.

The couple said the ring was never found, but a GoFundMe page was created to replace it.
