ATLANTA - Atlanta police are talking to witnesses after a man was shot and killed outside Grady Memorial Hospital Thursday afternoon.
Police said the man was shot on Armstrong Street and was transported to the hospital where he later died.
Witness Benette Shields told the Atlanta Journal Constitution she was standing outside Grady when she saw a man approached by a burgundy car.
“I think he knew they were behind him because he sped up,” she said.
Then she said she heard three shots.
APD homicide unit is investigating the shooting.
