GAINESVILLE, Ga. — A man was gunned down during a fight at a soccer game in Gainesville, according to the Hall County Sheriff's Office.

It happened shortly after 4 p.m. Sunday at Tadmore Park.

Deputies said two spectators at the soccer game were arguing when one man pulled out a handgun and shot the other man multiple times. The shooter tried to get away, but two Hall County marshals working security at the game nabbed him, deputies said.

Authorities have not released the victim's identity but said he is a 46-year-old man who knew the suspect. His name is being withheld as authorities notify family members, who are out of the country.
