TUCKER, Ga. - DeKalb County police are searching for five people in connection to a fatal drive-by shooting.

Off-camera, a witness told Channel 2’s Darryn Moore he was walking with the victim when a white SUV drove past them and stopped. The driver backed up and the witness told his friend something was not right, but by that time, someone sitting in the back seat fired at least three shots, the witness said.
One of the bullets struck the victim in the chest and his friend ran. When he came back to check on his friend, he was dead, the witness said.
The witness told police the SUV looked like a Chevy and at least five people were inside.
Police said the victim was in his 20s and lives a few blocks from where he was killed.
