COBB COUNTY, Ga. - A Cobb County man was found guilty Thursday in a bizarre case that involved threats of eating children.
Satterfield mailed a threatening letter to a Superior Court judge’s wife. Among other threats, the man wrote that he would kill the couple’s children and eat them, according to an arrest warrant. He also stated that he would “cook them first to make them more palatable,” according to the Cobb County warrant obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The letter was postmarked Dec. 20, sent to the home of Cobb County Superior Court Judge Reuben Green and addressed to Green’s wife, the warrant states.
Prosecutors said the letter wasn't sent in a fit of rage; rather, they said, he was taking steps to potentially carry out his plan.
“Please give a copy of this letter to the police so that when you are slaughtered the public will know who were really responsible,” the letter from Satterfield allegedly stated.
