2 rescued after car plunges into motel pool

ATLANTA — Canton police pulled off a rescue at a local Days Inn.

Police said a man had a seizure while driving and crashed into the motel's swimming pool on Juniper Street Friday night.

A 12-year-old child was also in the truck.

Four officers jumped into the pool and saved the driver and child.

Both are recovering, authorities said.
