Autopsy reveals man cutting limbs died of asphyxiation

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Channel 2 Action News is getting more details about a man who died Saturday after he lost his balance while cutting tree branches and then hanged himself on his own safety apparatus.

An autopsy revealed Tim June, of Roswell, died of asphyxiation.

June was cutting branches from a pine tree about 60 feet off the ground in Fairburn when one of the branches struck him.

A Channel 2 Action News photographer saw several public safety vehicles at the Malone Circle at Rivertown Road around 1 p.m.

Fairburn police said June was a professional tree-cutter and that he worked for Trees of Atlanta.

Junes leaves behind his girlfriend, who is nine months pregnant.
