ATLANTA - Channel 2 Action News has confirmed that operations at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport are back to normal after a lockdown was accidentally triggered.
Airport officials told Channel 2 a malfunctioning switch at a checkpoint set off the alarm that affected the trains and security checkpoints. The lockdown was lifted about 15 minutes later.
The official said she didn’t know if any flights were delayed because of the false alarm.
