FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. - Charges are anticipated in a deadly crash in Forsyth County Monday that killed a 42-year-old mother when a moving truck drove into oncoming traffic, authorities say.

Emily Osborn died at the scene at Dahlonega Highway and Punch Hammond Road.

Forsyth County sheriff deputies said that the 41-year-old driver of the truck first hit a minivan then crashed into Osborn’s car.

“In her situation I really don’t think there’s anything she could have done,” said Lauren Bender, a friend.

Friends and loved ones plan to come together for a memorial at Castleberry Ale House in Cumming on Wednesday night at 7. They want to show Osborn's two children that she was loved.

“When I speak to her mother, she’s crying every time,” said Chip Curle, a friend. “My heart breaks for them.”

For information on how to help her family, friends have started a GoFundMe page. You can donate here.
