Hundreds of people were in line Saturday for the City of College Park’s gun buy-back program.
The event offers $150 for working rifles, shotguns or assault-style rifles and $100 for any workable handgun.
The event will be held until 5 p.m. at the College Park City Auditorium on Main Street. Some gun rights advocates have criticized the city for holding the event, but organizers stand by their public safety effort.
