Cobb Co. man uses HS locker combo to win $1M lotto prize

Nash won $1 million on the June 2, 2015, Mega Millions drawing using numbers from his high school locker combination.

MABLETON, Ga. — Henry “Calvin” Nash graduated from Pebblebrook High School more than 40 years ago, but he never forgot his locker combination.

"Numbers stick in my head," Nash said, according to the official Mega Millions website.

Those numbers helped Nash win a $1 million prize in the June 2, 2015, Mega Millions drawing.

The Mega Millions jackpot currently sits at $415 million, the third-largest in the history of the game. Watch the LIVE drawing Friday night on WSB-TV right before the Channel 2 Action News Nightbeat at 11.

The Mableton man said he realized he had won when he checked the results on his computer.

"I saw the numbers 2 and 9, and said, 'Hey, I've got that,'" Nash said, according to the official Mega Millions website.

The winning numbers were 2-9-11-22-23 and the Mega Ball was 12.
