Police: Woman pulls gun on officer in road rage incident

HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — Officers arrested a woman accused of pulling a gun on an off-duty officer in a road-rage incident.

Quiana Glover, 31, was driving along Rock Quarry Road in Henry County on Dec. 29 when police say she got upset that she couldn’t pass the car in front of her. She didn’t know at the time that the car belonged to an officer.

Officers say Glover began aggressively tailgating the car, laying on the horn and eventually pulling a gun. Police say she had children in her car at the time.

"Hand gestures, motion and then he saw the firearm. He thought it was a firearm and it was. It was (a) pink- or purple-type handgun he could see her holding in her hand while she's driving, pointing it at him,” Capt. Joey Smith said.

The officer took video of the suspect holding the gun and soon her car was surrounded by marked police cruisers on Bridges Road.

"A search of her vehicle or purse resulted in finding a firearm as was described by the officer. Purple or pink, he knew what type of color it was and ultimately it was found,” Smith said.

Witness Roger Dunn saw it all happen.

"It was terrifying. Let me tell you. When you see somebody on the corner out here, especially in this area, everybody drawing guns,” he said. "I mean, it was just unbelievable. We all tried to take cover."
