Genesis Shelter and WSB-TV need your help Thursday

ATLANTA — Genesis Shelter is an Atlanta organization that provides support for homeless newborns and their families. Genesis Shelter specifically serves babies under 6-months-old, and they are in tremendous need of support this holiday season.

You can join WSB-TV and Channel 2 Action News anchor Jovita Moore in supporting their effort on Thursday Dec. 6, 2012 as part of Georgia Gives Day.

Please bring your monetary donations or the items listed below to the WSB-TV studios on Thursday from 9:30 a.m to 6 p.m. Jovita will help collect donations and meet viewers at 11 a.m., but donations will be accepted throughout the day.

Visitors should come to the 24-hour security entrance, which is the second gate at the studios located at 1601 West Peachtree Street NE Atlanta, Ga. 30309.
