Bomb threat forced evacuation of Target store in Gainesville

HALL COUNTY, Ga. — The Target store in Gainesville on Shallowford Road was temporarily closed after a bomb threat was made.

Police evacuated the store and bomb detection dogs searched the area.

The GBI Bomb Unit assisted in this investigation.

Police say the scene is cleared and all streets around the store have been reopened.

Police say their investigation continues.
