GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett police are investigating a three-vehicle accident on Boggs Road and Satellite Boulevard near an on ramp to Interstate 85.
Police say a tractor-trailer, sedan and a pickup truck were involved in the Friday morning accident.
According to police, the tractor-trailer was carrying a load of potatoes and overturned on the sedan.
Truck driver Gubal Singh told Channel 2's Tony Thomas he was only 7 miles from his delivery stop when his truck rolled over.
Singh says his brakes failed as he came off Interstate 85 to turn onto Boggs Road.
Witnesses say Singh swiped another truck coming through the intersection before rolling on top of the car.
"We felt it in the dealership. We felt the dealership shake so I know there's a lot of weight there," Singh said.
Investigators are assessing the truck to see if there were any sort of compliance violations of the equipment of the truck.
No major injuries were reported in this accident. Two people in the sedan were transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
