Teenage girl among 2 charged with murder for Lawrenceville shooting

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities have identified a man killed in a shooting in Gwinnett County.

According to police, 20-year-old Noel Reed was killed Friday night at the Lake Sweetwater Apartments on Sweetwater Road in Lawrenceville.

Gwinnett County police charged five people in connection with the killing. They were arrested shortly after leaving the scene, police said.

Police said they learned that Reed went to meet the five suspects to buy marijuana. When he went to mee thm, police said Reed showed a handgun and attempted to rob them of the marijuana.

One of the suspects pulled out a gun and fired, shooting Reed, who died from the gunshot wounds.

Police charged Sean Swanson, 23, and Tia Coleman, 17, each with murder, aggravated assault and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Dominic Fullwood, 23, Darquez Fullwood, 20, and Terrell McCallum, 23, were charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana. McCallum was also charged with failure to appear.

Police are still investigating the murder.

Reed's family told Channel 2's Tyisha Fernandes that Reed was going to be a father soon.

Reed's friends said they are going to do their best to help the baby's mother and the child.
