Morgan cried through most of the court hearing, and showed a flash of anger.

Channel 2's Tony Thomas spoke with witnesses at the scene of the standoff who say it's no secret Morgan and her daughter's boyfriend, Chris Massie, don't see eye to eye.

Police say Morgan got into an argument with her daughter's boyfriend.

Morgan told the court she didn't know what happened or why she's being charged with a crime.

Witnesses say when officers arrived at Morgan's Peachtree Corners apartment, she pulled a gun and allegedly fired a shot near them while holding her 1-month-old grandson.

"I'm disgusted that she would stoop that low," Massie said

A judge denied Morgan bail at the end of Thursday's hearing.

Massie told Channel 2's Tony Thomas he believes his baby is physically fine, but worries about his son's hearing.
