Police said several minutes later, police received a call of a person shot at the gas station at 5535 Jimmy Carter Boulevard. A man was dead inside a car with a single gunshot wound to the chest, according to police.

Police said the man was shot in the parking lot of Midnight Blue Café and driven to the Shell gas station.

There were reportedly multiple shooters and multiple witnesses who left the scene, police said.

Channel 2's Steve Gehlbach spoke to a witness who said he saw several people shooting and that it was like a scene from the Wild, Wild West.

Kevin Birch was leaving Midnight Blu nightclub around 2 a.m. when he said a fight inside the club spilled into the parking lot and quickly turned into chaos.

“Somebody got hurt, hit in head with a bottle or something and next thing you know gunshots go all over the place, like the O.K. Corral, like the Wild, Wild West,” Birch said.

Bullets were flying, leaving broken glass, shot up cars, dozens of shell casings and two people shot.

“Gunfire was going everywhere, front of the club, from behind cars, had people ducking under cars,” Birch said.

Gwinnett police say a 19-year-old, shot in his chest got into a car and was driven about a mile down the road to a shell station where he died.

Another young woman was shot in the leg.

Birch saw her bleeding, picked her up and moved her to safety.

“I just went, grabbed her, pulled into the club,” he said.

Among the half dozen people shooting, was the club’s security guard according to witnesses, but he was outgunned.

Police said they are still searching for a suspect and investigating a motive.
