Authorities raid suspected drug lab; Suspects arrested wearing hazmat suits

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Several people were arrested Tuesday when authorities raided a suspected Gwinnett County drug lab.

A man who says he owns the home on Harbins Road in Norcross told Channel 2’s Matt Johnson that he was driving by and saw DEA agents and local authorities at the home.

Investigators said his tenants are suspected of operating a drug laboratory inside.

Of the six people arrested, at least three of them were wearing hazmat suits while they were handcuffed and taken away.

We’re working to learn exactly what drugs were seized in the raid and more about the suspects for Channel 2 Action News starting at 4 p.m.

Red signs have been posted on the house warning that hazardous materials might still be on the property.
