“Justice needs to be served,” Louisa Williams said. “Who murders somebody and gets bail?”

Williams cannot comprehend how Hubbard was released from jail after he allegedly left a slew of DNA evidence behind at the crime scene.

Court records show Hubbard was released on Sept. 27.

“This boy killed my husband, took my family, destroyed my world and he’s out there,” Louisa Williams said.

That’s 47 days after police say the suspect shot the married father as he changed the locks on the front door of his new home.

At the time, Louisa and their children were inside. She said she watched in horror as her soulmate took his last breath.

“The Fulton County system failed me and my husband -- my family,” Louisa Williams said.

Channel 2's Nefertiti Jaquez reached out to the Fulton County District Attorney's Office and Paul Howard said he's just as upset. He released this statement Wednesday night reading in part:

"Despite these facts and circumstances. as has happened in our County on numerous occasions, an unelected Magistrate set bond in this matter. The Fulton County District Attorney's Office continues to believe this action by the Magistrate is illegal under Georgia law… Like many citizens, we are wondering when this bond madness will come to an end."

"I’m asking for justice. I’m asking for Dexter Hubbard to be locked up in prison where he belongs," Louisa Williams said.

Howard told Jaquez he will present this case before a grand jury and request a no bond arrest warrant for the suspect on Friday.
