ATLANTA - Friends and family came together Sunday night to remember a local businessman murdered almost one year ago.
They gathered at a home in Gwinnett County for dinner and to release balloons in memory of Terry Porter.
US marshals arrested Ladarius Hardy for his murder just days after the shooting.
"Exactly 28 days later, and now it's going on a whole year now just sitting waiting,” said friend Levi Bias.
Porter’s family said it's time for justice.
Hardy is accused of shooting and robbing Porter outside his home in southwest Atlanta one year ago, Tuesday. Friends and family plan to hold a vigil then, at the home where porter was shot.
