Police seek suspect in double-shooting in Cumming

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Update 5/31:

Lofland's vehicle was found on Highway 20 but he was not inside.

Police are searching for Ronald Eric Lofland, who Forsyth County investigators say shot a man and woman inside a house on 15th Street in Cumming overnight.

The male victim is in surgery and the female victim is expected to be okay, and could be released from the hospital soon.

Investigators tell us they are looking into what led to the shooting, but believe it stemmed from a domestic dispute.

They said they believe the suspect and the female have been married.

Deputies say the shooter fled in a 2003 gold Jeep Liberty with the license tag PXL 8529.
