GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — The general manager of a Marco’s Pizza in Gwinnett County is recovering from a single gunshot to the chest as police search for the robber who attacked him.
It happened Monday just after 10 p.m. as the manager, Quinn Harned, closed up shop alone.
Employee Carissa Thomas told Channel 2’s Sophia Choi, “Apparently he sent everyone home last night because he didn’t want everybody to stay and close because we weren’t that busy.”

Cpl.Deon Washington of Gwinnett County police said “(Harned) was approached by a black male dressed in all black who attempted to rob him. At some point, he fired one single shot and fled the scene, we believe, without taking any property or cash.”
Paramedics rushed Harned to Gwinnett Medical Center, where he is now recovering.
Investigators returned to the pizza shop on Tuesday in hopes of finding surveillance video. Officers hope that will lead to a suspect.
