MAJOR DRUG BUST: 40 pounds of pot, $60K in cash, several assault rifles

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — A 34-year-old man was arrested and faces several drug-related charges after authorities in South Forsyth County made a significant bust earlier this month.

According to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, Christopher Walker, from Cumming, was arrested on Oct. 3.

During the execution of a search warrant at Walker’s home, authorities confiscated oxycodone, amphetamine, nearly 40 pounds of marijuana, large amounts of THC oil, more than $60,000 in cash, three assault rifles and two handguns.

Authorities said they also recovered several bags of suspected drug-laced gummy bears.

"We found gummy bears stuffed in the freezer," said Doug Rainwater, with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.

Rainwater says it's concerning because the gummy bears looked like they were packaged to sell to the youth.

The sheriff's office says a 6-year-old child lives at the home they raided.

Walker was charged with sale of cocaine, possession of amphetamine, trafficking marijuana, possession of THC oil with intent, possession of oxycodone, possession of cocaine and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.
