BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. — Georgia State Patrol has confirmed Robert Lewis Burns Jr., 64, died in a crash on Tower Ridge Road in Bartow County.
Around 11:56 p.m. Friday, Burns' vehicle was traveling northbound on Tower Ridge Road when his vehicle went off the west side of the road while approaching a curve.
Burns' vehicle hit a mailbox and a tree.
Police say Burns was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
