TURNER FIELD FAREWELL: Fans say goodbye to 'The Ted'

ATLANTA — A sold-out crowd of more than 50,000 fans packed Turner Field one last time Sunday afternoon as the Atlanta Braves beat the Detroit Tigers.

The Braves called Turner Field home for nearly two decades. The stadium was first used in the 1996 Summer Olympics, and has been home to the Braves since then.

Thousands of fans stuck around after the game for a closing ceremony where they got to do the very last Turner Field Tomahawk Chop.
