Falcons RB Jason Snelling arrested on marijuana charges

WINDER, Ga. — An Atlanta Falcons player is facing misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Winder police say they arrested Jason Snelling Friday morning after a traffic stop. Police say they pulled over the reserve Falcons running back after his SUV was weaving and crossing the center line.

Team officials said they are aware of the situation but declined further comment calling the situation a legal matter.

Snelling did not participate in practice on Friday. He is listed on the injury report with a non-injury related/knee injury. He was listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay.
