Driver records man pulling gun during road rage incident

NORTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Johns Creek police is investigating dramatic video showing a road rage incident that ended with one man pulling a gun on a driver.

Channel 2's Mike Petchenik obtained the video that showed the tense moments between two drivers last week in the parking lot of the Home Depot on State Bridge Road.

One driver took video of the other pointing a gun right at him.

"Two cars, just arguing in traffic. The allegation is that one of the persons threw something at the other vehicle," said Johns Creek Police Capt. Chris Byers.

Byers said the argument continued for several miles before both cars pulled over and he says David Stinson pulled out the gun.

"One car pulled in, the other blocked him in, and at that point, a weapon was aimed at one of the drivers by one the other drivers," Byers said.

Petchenik spoke by phone to Stinson and he said he pulled the gun because he feared for his safety and he maintains the driver of the other car threw something at him. He said he's waiting for his day in court.

Byers says police have charged Stinson with misdemeanor pointing a gun at another.
