• Missing Carroll County boy found safe with family


    CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. - Search parties in Carroll County have ended their search for a missing  7-year-old boy. The child, identified as Jayden Saffo, has been found safe and sound, deputies said.

    Carroll County Sheriff's Office deputies confirmed the update about 11 a.m. Sunday.

    Authorities told Channel 2 Action News the child spent the night at a relative's home.

    The sheriff's office's release on Jayden's disappearance said he was last seen Saturday about 7 p.m.

    Deputies conducted their Sunday morning search in the Tall Pines Mobile Home Park, outside Carrollton at the corner  of Lovvorn Road and Ingram Road.

    Authorities have not said whether anyone will face charges in this incident.
