DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - One person is dead after a family gathering ended in gunfire.
Overnight DeKalb County police were met by grieving family members after getting a call of a person shot on Wetherborn Place.
Police said at least six people were in the house when it happened.
"It appears there was a domestic incident between a father and son, weapons were drawn and that individual was shot," DeKalb County Police Lt. Rod Bryant said.
Detectives said the 53-year-old man died from his injuries.
It happened at family gathering when the victim and his 30 year-old son were arguing.

“We are questioning them now to get more detailed information,” Bryant said of the other people inside the house.
Police also questioned the son at headquarters and so far they have not announced any charges.
