DECATUR, Ga. — More room for bicycles will mean less room for cars along a busy road.
The city of Decatur is installing new cycle lanes along Church Street.
The bike lanes will run about one mile along the road, beginning near the Decatur Cemetery.

Work on the lanes is expected to begin in July, and it will take 18-24 months for the project to be completed.
The Church Street bike lanes will complete the final segment of lanes from the PATH Stone Mountain.
The project will also include safety improvements for pedestrians in the area.
