Judge grants bond for woman accused of shooting in Target parking lot

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A judge granted bond Thursday for a woman charged in a shooting at a Target parking lot.

Tara Moody, of Covington, is charged with aggravated assault.

A judge granted Moody a $50,000 bond Thursday morning.

Channel 2's Audrey Washington was in court as Moody appeared via video feed to tell the judge she has a family and that she is active in her community.

“I currently live with my husband and my daughter who is 14. I am the sole provider for our family. I’ve been with my job for 20 years come September of this year,” Moody said.

DeKalb County police said the shooting happened when Moody and another driver both tried to get around a delivery truck, and neither let the other one pass.
