DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities are investigating a crash they said resulted from a chase in DeKalb County.
The crash happened on Highway 78 between Brockett Road and Interstate 285 Monday morning.
DeKalb County police confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that it was related to a chase.

Georgia State Patrol said it started a traffic stop on Jimmy Carter Boulevard at Lawrenceville Highway. The vehicle fled the traffic stop and a pursuit ensued. The chase ended on Highway 78 westbound at Brockett Road when the trooper performed a PIT maneuver on the subject’s vehicle.
The subject was ejected from the vehicle, according to GSP. They were injured and transported to Grady Memorial Hospital. The trooper was not hurt.
